Used PS2 $100 Should I buy???

It was the demo unit at Toys-R-Us but it was locked up in those cases. My question is with all of that on time do you think it is a real risky buy???

do they warrantee the ps2? 30days? if so, yeah, i'd buy it. if they offer an extended warrantee, depending on how much that is, i'd consider that too.

otherwise, i'd have to test it first - bring along a game and dvd and try it out.

If you don't, I will...

Heck... I saw a "this Dreamcast Does Not work" sell on Ebay for $26 yesterday... What's the worst thing that can happen?

And then head down to Blockbuster where the PV games are an additional 25% off if you aren't against that sort of thing. (30 day warranty there)

Thanks guys, I figured it would be like any other piece of electronic equipment, if it makes it through the first 30 days as long as you don't abuse it it should be ggod to go. I can't pass up a PS2 for 100, all toll with a couple of games, new controllers and a memory card I will be set back less than a bare bones system.

I sold my old PS2 which was broken for $202 on eBay. there is a guy that buys all the broken PS2's he can find and pays good money for them. I guess he either fixes them or sells the parts.
