Forum Jump drop downs

Can we please get the top ones to match the bottom ones?

For ex, the top one still has "DVD Audio and Music Talk" near the other DVD-related forums. Also, the top one has all the forums listed in a row, while the bottom one has them sorted by category.

I'm anal, I'd like a single format.

I'm not sure what GuessWho had in mind, exactly, but when you open the bottom one, the current forum is highlighted which works well for me. Not so with the top, which seems to work like the front page drop down.

How come there isn't a "Forum Jump" drop down menu at the top of threads?

Again, different formats for different locations.. why? I'd choose a style and stick with it

Don't know if this goes here or not, but I only see the Forum Area drop down at the bottom of the Otter Forum. I love that drop down, what happened to it everywhere else (there are some forums I don't go to here, so I don't know if they are there)?

I didn't get finnished last night working on the forum drop down fix. I found a way to get the forum to put the same one on the top as on the bottom, but it isn't everywhere I want it to be....

how about just getting rid of the drop down menus and replace them with a line of text links? drop down menus just seems a little clumsy to me, sometimes you click and slide to the wrong one by accident, or you click the menu and then have to scroll to get to the forum you want. it just seems like a pain, whereas a simple line of text links in it's place would keep everything quick and simple.

edited to add that now that i take another look at the menus, there are quite a few categories so i guess it would take up more than one line, but i'd still rather have text links that drop downs.

Why is the Video Game Exchange Forum only on the drop down in the Videogame forum?
