Question About Pre-Ordering @ 800.com
I have a few titles that I want to pre-order at 800.com that are coming out in March. I was just wondering from people's past experiences if 800.com raises the prices of their DVD's after they come off of pre-order and are available as some DVD retailers do, or if their prices for pre-orders and post release stay the same?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't think that there is a set answer. From what I noticed it depends on what movie it is or what the MSRP is. For example a recent movie like American Pie 2 might go up a couple of dollars. But a movie with a lower "demand" that has a really good price (or % off) would go up quite a bit. Also, for example, a MGM Midnight Movie title would have a pre-order price of 9.94 then after then release date, be listed as "on sale" @ 9.94, then as time goes by-it gets bumped up to 11.94. This probally isn't much of a help and this only from what I've noticed.

Pac-Rat,
Thanks for the information.
I've never shopped with them before so I don't even have any past pre-orders to compare it with to see how they operate regarding pre-orders and then release prices.
