Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance "The Gauntlet" help needed!
ARRGH!!!! This level is driving me nuts!
Okay, here's what I'm doing...I'm mostly using the Icy Sphere feat instead of the repulsion thingy (although I do switch off when I'm fighting the vulture-type creatures, the repulsion helps there quite a bit). For a while, I just could not get by those 3 or 4 huge creatures with the big front claws that attack you a few rooms into the gauntlet, but I decided to primarily hit them with Icy Spheres over and over from a distance, then go in for a quick kill. I got all the way to the room with the spiders and the huge robot-like creature (at this point, I've got less than 5 minutes to go on the timer, so I have no idea if I'm close to finishing or not) but I just cannot make it past this guy no matter what I try (I'm used to dispatching them quickly and easily with a couple whacks of my 108 damage Great Sword from the one player game
)
Any hints? I'm started to get very frustrated with this level, but I'm too determined to unlock the Extreme mode...
