I'm playing Luigi's Mansion and all throughout the game I see these ghosts that are solid balls. What the heck are they? What can I do with them?

For the life of me, I just can't figure it out..

It's just that the title of this thread threw me off.

The balls you are referring too are found when hunting for Boos (if I'm not mistaken). Hopefully that will clarify the question a bit.

I don't think they have any purpose other than to decoy you away from the actual Boo. I never found a use for them. I will wait with you to see if anyone did find a use or purpose for them.
