I find the voice acting in FFX to be very good. At least Wakka doesn't sound like Jar Jar Binks.

Actually the thing that sounded most like Jar Jar Binks was that guy that rides that big Monster Transport thing by the Moon Pool thing. I heard his voice and was like "oy!"

, now that you mention it when I first saw Seymor I thought "whoa he looks pretty bad ass!" But when I heard him talk I thought "whoa! Didn't expect him to sound like that!" But its not as bad as it could have been . I'd agree with happypants, in such a high posistion of power he has to act like royalty, like he's better than everyone else. Still he looks like a bad ass so it makes up for the voice.
As for the shoopuff rider someone mentioned, didn't he used to be a regular random battle enemy in FF7? How did he turn good?

that makes perfect sense. but, it still would've been nice for the bad-ass to sound bad-ass. something deeper perhaps -- i don't think king arthur was such a wimp. oh well. great game and i hate blitzball.
