I would like to get an guide for FFX for free. I know that I can get it from www.ign.com, but they are charging for it.

if I get stuck on a certain part I always go to the guides on IGN. I never really use anyone else. Though I have used gamespot once or twice.

I hardly ever use them, but when I need to I use nothing but gamefaqs.

Gamefaqs here, too, but I've only used it for the Temples. The game itself is pretty fun just to try and figure out. Cast Scan on a monster and it tells you a lot.

gamefaqs.com is the best for guides I think. its free and no frills. I don't really use them that much. But with a game like FFX I'll break out my laptop and download it. That way I don't have to sit at the computer or keep going back between the game and the computer.

gamefaqs over here, too. although there isn't a completed walk-thru for FFX(US). it's fun going through the game without it but i realized i've missed so much. :P well, i can see myself going back through the game with a faq next time. it's so addicting and i just love the battle system - a big improvement over FFVIII which was the last one i played.

When I need help, I use Gamefaqs also. I just started playing FFX yesterday and so far it's been great. I haven't played the previous ones, but I'm enjoying it so far.

The battle system is almost exactly like Grandia 2's, with the difference (if I remember right) that you can't swap characters during battle in Grandia 2.

One thing that hasn't changed is random battles, though they're less frequent until you get to the snowy mountain.

I use the guides at IGN.

Usually I go through the game my first time with no guide..... then I look at GameFaqs and go through it a second time using the guide, to hit all the secrets I missed the first time.
