None. They are just out of different departments. That is why one is more then the other. This is a Best Buy trick to make you pay more. I know I worked there part time some years back.

working at best buy i can tell you the diffrence. they are NOT from diffrent departments, both are from the video department, BUT the cables are exactly the same, recoton redesigns the boxes their cables come in every year, the cheaper one is last year's box and you probably won't be able to find any in the stores. ( Note: anything you see at best buy that ends in .50 instead of .99 or .92(sale item) is a clearance item and thus cheaper, anything ending in .60 is an open box item btw).


I would reccommend the 6' version of this cable, it has a polished interior surface on the fiber to give a better refelctive signal.
