DirecTV adds a new Satellite - more Local Channels

Today, DirectTV added a new Satellite to the 101 Lattitude, resulting in new additions to the local channel package. Now, the basic local package also includes the WB and UPN networks as well as a couple of other regional channels.

DirecTV claims that with the new satellite in place, they will now be able offer local service to more regions and eventually expand their offering.

yet oddly enough...i don't know which ones are added. I'm in the NYC area and I was told that the Metro Channel and NY1 would be added and I don't see either on the listing. Anyone? Anyone??
