Questions/Review Wanted: Upstairs Downstairs
Re: Season 1 & Season 2
I recall my Mom used to watch this series regularly and I'm thinking of getting her both sets.
Question: Does each set contain the entire season or are they just collections of the best episodes from that season. All I know is that Season 1 contains 5 B&W episodes not shown in the US.
If these sets are just highlighted episodes, can one still follow the plot=line? Obviously if these are indeed "complete season" collections, that shouldn't be a problem.
Season 2 doesn't come out until Jan 2nd but for those who have Season 1 (or got Season 2 early) I'd appreciate some reviews on picture quality and sound.
Thanks!

...on the packaging it says "The complete 1st Season", respectively "The complete 2nd Season", so... (there were 68 episodes in all)...

...I'm sure she will! Never saw more than a handful of episodes myself (yes, they were very good!), but I remember my parents dropping everything in order not to miss even one minute of each weekly installment...
