Anti-child lock for stereo cabinet glass doors?

Does anybody make something cheap and non-permanent along these lines? Just some kind of latch I could put at the top of your typical two glass doors that open out. Doesn't need to be like Fort Knox, just a deterent. I'm sure my wife will keep an eye out for my son when he starts walking.

Go to any store that sells baby products and look for a magnetic lock for cabinets. It usually runs around $6 to $15 depending upon where you find it. I think places like Lowes, Home Depot, Kmart, Wal-mart, and Target all carry it.

The manufacturer is Safety 1st .... here's a link to an example:

Here's a bunch of places off of Yahoo that you can get them on-line:

More than a deterent for Children, it works great with adults who like to fidget with other people's stereos and such. Since you need a magnet to unlock/lock the latch, its a great deterrent.

Hook up one of those big batteries that they use in flashlights ( 2"x2"x4") with 2 wires, put one on each of the connecting magnets....you can open the door without a shock if you push/pull the bottom of the door....from the top and ZAP

I am totally kidding. Use the links above, they have plenty of alternatives...I am/was a psych. major in college, conditioning is in my blood.
