Star Fox Adventures

I didn't think this game would look this nice:
From Cloudchaser

FUR? I didn't think consoles were up to that level yet. This game is trully going to be a gem!

I'm guessing those screenshots come from cutscenes, but even so they do look sweet.

yeah, probably cut scenes, but they are too crisp to be a movie clip. These gotta be real time graphics.

Those are cutscenes, but they're using the game engine so gameplay will look like that, only zoomed out from a different camera angle.

I can't wait for this one either. Hopefully, this game will take longer than 5 hours to beat - unlike StarFox 64. But Rare is at the helm of this one. Tentative release date: March 25, 2002 - can't come soon enough.

I'm sure it'll be MUCH longer than StarFox 64... It is an adventure game and not just a shooter, after all. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

Not exactly. A lot of games use more detailed face models for their close-up shots, and less detailed models in the game, when there are multiple characters on the screen, and larger environments. If you look at the gameplay shots, they're a lot less detailed.

This game looks great, though, but my bet is that it won't be more than 15 hours long.

Well, I've seen the gameplay pics and videos and it looks good enough to me. I think I'll play it even if I can't see individual strands of hair.
