two Brand new DVD's
I have two DVD's unopened, what is the best way to get them exchanged @ k-mart.
These DVD's were given to me by a friend as a gift and I already have these titles.
I was going to tell them that I bought them with a credit card and lost the recipt. it's that a good enough...do you think they will allow me to make an even exchange???
Please help.
Thanks.

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
considering that it's the holiday season, K-Mart probably expects to make exchanges on gifts. i'm no expert on K-Mart policy, but as long as the DVDs are still sealed, they'll probably give you store credit without a receipt. i don't think you'll need to fabricate a story.

I went to K-mart last night and they requested a recipt so I went to Target and they were more than happy to exchange with out a recipt only if they carried it.
So I exchanged Superman the Movie for Pearl Harbor 2cd set...not bad.
I never buy DVD's at retail stores and man what a nice selection and affordable prices, new releases only $22.95 but most of them are only $19.99 or $9.99.
