Depeche Mode-Freelove DVD Single-Ripoff?

Okay, I'm a fan, and I got this...
Here is what I expected:
The ACTUAL music video, a 'live' bootleg cam version, along with fan-cam versions of two other songs and an audio only extended mix.

What I GOT was a few 20 second vid clips...bootleg audio that is worse that what I have whole SHELVES of, and a video that is a damn boot vid....

I paid the full $10.00 for this and am PISSED.

I love Mode, but this just didn't work for me.

Phew! When I read the title I thought you were about to say that DM ripped off another song.

Well they did cover The Stooges ("Dirt") on their previous single. Does that count?

DM ripped off ANOTHER song!? What exactly do you mean? They covered, what, two songs in their 20 year career? That I know of that is. "Route 66" and the above mentioned "Dirt". Look how many bands and artists have covered DM! I've lost count on all the tribute albums.

What I meant was that it seemed that this thread might imply that they sampled someone else's song without permission. By another I simply meant, someone else's song.

Well, they did sample Pink Floyd's "One Of These Days" for "Clean". IIRC, they also sampled Zeppelin (forget what song) for another track.

Not sure how permission works for samples, but kind of interesting that DM ripped something from those bands.
