comparable players to the Toshiba SD-4700?
Could i get some names of players that are comparable to the Toshiba SD-4700 in terms of specs, and maybe price? Just for personal research puposes, thanks.

The 4700 has a lot of features. Off the top of my head:
* DVD-Audio
* Progressive scan
* coaxial output
* zoom
Are you looking for players that do all of the above? Or all of the above plus some other things the 4700 does? Or less?
JVC and Panasonic make players that are comparable to the 4700, depending on which features you're looking at.

Acutally all of the features you listed would be preferable, yes. Mp3/VCD/CD playback would also on that list, but at prices the 4700 tips in at, i would expect those features to be on the player regardless.

Other dvd players that match the Toshiba 4700
JVC XV-SA70BK/JVC XV-SA75GD
Panasonic DVD-RP91 (Although this is like twice the price of the Tosh)
These are the only ones I can think of right now.
The JVC is listed $280 ($228 at etronics.com) and the Panasonic DVD-RP91 is listed $700 ($430 at ecost.com).
