HELP PLEASE: Was there ever a good solution to dvd player not reading discs?
I have been reading lots of posts on here from the past year trying to figure out if there is anything I can do about my dvd player. It has stopped reading certain discs. From past posts on here, it seems it only gets worse. I have tried the unplugging it for awhile. I would clean it, but it won't read the dvd cleaner disc. Did anyone ever discover any other solution? I have a toshiba sd2109.
Could anyone recommend a dvd cleaner that my player might be able to read? I have an Allsop disc that has little brushes on it that it won't read now.
If it comes to buying a new player, does anyone know one that isn't prone to having this problem? I have read on here that people have had the problem with JVC, Sony and Panisonic.
My player will be 2 years old this Christmas, so I doubt my warrenty is any good.
