Looking for a cheap DVD player for spare TV.
Hi:
I have DVD players on the most important TV's in my home. However, I'd like to add one to a spare TV in a room I sometimes use. Can I find a player that will work reasonably well and not damage my discs for around $100.00? If so, any recommendations?

Use the dvdtalk Amazon link and search for "Daewoo dvd". Take a look at the dvg-3000n model for $99.99 w/free shipping. The thing about this particular player is that it's easy to find directions to get into it's service menu and "hack" it to be region free, if that matters to you. That alone makes it a popular player. I don't own one, just come across this player in a lot of various forums.
