Run to the Hills! - Iron Maiden on DVD

Has anyone seen the Classic Albums: Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast DVD?

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I am so curious!

Do tell...

The Classic Album Series are nice but they are just a companion to the original recording. They are mostly just interviews and behind the scenes stuff about the making of the album. Don't expect the album remastered into DD5.1 to be on this DVD.

Okay, I've seen it. I knew I wasn't getting the full album. I already have a remastered CD, I wanted interviews and insight, and that's what I got.

Man, I got chills up my spine 3 or 4 times watching this! It is so GREAT! As a die hard fan of IRON MAIDEN in Middle School and High School, I must say it brought back the best memories. I especially liked the "Beast" stories where the band members and associates related how 666 creeped into their lives. It reminded me of the summer of 1989 when I attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. It was a special summer semester for students who had already graduated High School or were about to graduate. I was going to be a Senior when school started in the Fall. Anyway, I totally dug the fact that my PO box# at Berklee was 666! I remember other students trying to buy my PO Box from me. I didn't sell.

Anyway, buy this DVD! It's WIDESCREEN and they have a LIVE recording (and film) of "Hallowed be thy Name" in DD5.1

Enough said

Sounds great...I like the Classic Albums series but just didn't know if you knew what you were getting. I have the Steely Dan Aja and it's great. I was once a huge Maiden fan too. My high school band used to play Loneliness of a Long Distance Runner and Los'fer Words Saw them back in 88 on the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Tour.

I liked them a lot on the first two albums with Paul Dianno on vocals. Prodigal Son is one of my al time favorite tunes.
