Does Project Gotham Racing look a lot like a Super Nintendo game? I bought this game with Fusion Frenzy last night and saved $15, but I already through it up on EBAY because I was insulted at how bad the game actually looked and felt. The cars just looked like they were cut and pasted onto a moving screen, and I swear you could see little marks where the textures did not add up.
It kinda gave the image of some novice working on photoshop who couldn't quite make the perfect outline of a selection, and got little white marks near the body of what they intended to select.
Anyone else VERY dissapointed by this game/

No, I'm telling you guys, there was a game for Super Nintendo that looked almost EXACTLY like this game. Of course the graphics weren't quite as good, but that's because it was only sixteen bit : )
I couldn't believe how bad the graphics looked. It was really dissapointing

Gamepro gave it a 5 out of 5 on graphics, but they're idiots...
IGN gave it an 8 out of 10, and said the backgrounds were lifeless.
Gamespot gave it an 8 out of ten...
So while it may not look as polished as GT3, i doubt it looks like an SNES game

I'm surprised because PGR looks incredible in all the videos I've seen. Anyway - I'm happy with my DC for now cuz I just picked up Sega GT (Grand Tourismo clone) and MSR (another GT clone)... both are pretty sweet. I also have Vanishing Point which isn't that great. MSR has outstanding graphics.
