DVD Players that have changing designs to the music beat...
Hey all...
I believe i saw some DVD players that advertised a function that has designs on the screen that will change to the beat of the music... Is this that NUON technology or whatever? Just curious... Has anyone used this feature? its it true to the beat? or just a cheap attempt?
Thanks,
Matt

Yes some of the NUON enhanced DVD players have a VLM(Virtual Light Machine) that will display a spectrum analyzer that changes with the beat of the song. I haven't seen it in action so I don't know the quality of it.

Back in the 70's you could get these boxes with colored lights that did that- you'd plug 'em into the speaker terminals and they'd blink with the music. Wish I had some now!

Hello...
I actually have one of those "little black boxes". It's hy i am so intrigued with this stuff! It works flawlessly - and since it has a direct input into my stereo -- the designs are in PERFECT sync with the music! You can still buy these at radio shack, actually....
Thanks,
Matt
