Technics SA-DX950 or 1050 receiver?
I'm looking into getting new receiver at the end of this month and I really like the look and style of Technics Receivers. I've been trying to find reviews and I found some that have stated the older SA-DX940 & early 950's had an overheating problem. Has anyone experienced this first hand. I'm not sure which one of these receivers to buy. The specs for both are very close but the 1050 has a built in fan which i'm not sure if I need. If anyone has one of these recievers please post a review or comments. Thanks!

I had the Technics SA-DX930 for 2 years until I recently upgraded to a 6.1 receiver. Yes it gets hot but it always worked, once I replaced the internal fuse. The fan only comes on at high volume not heat. The Technics receiver is actually very well built and puts out good sound quality. All this at a very good price, you could do a lot worse.
