Is there some way to tell exactly when your Dreamcast was made? I recently bought a Dreamcast off a guy on Ebay (haven't even received it yet). It's "New in Box," but I don't know when it was made.

I would be conservative and not buy any after October 2000. There have been conflicting reports as to which manufacture date is correct.
There is a VERY easy way to tell. Pick up the box, and peer up in the hole in the back. You should be able to see the label, and it will say the manufacture date.
