Secret in each Xbox? Anyone?
I heard this yesterday on the board here... anyone found anything out? Is it a secret game like the snail-maze game the Sega Master System came out with? That would be funny.
ANyone know?

There's a peep hole on the back of the box and if you peer through this rectangular cut-out, you can actually see the barcode of the darn thing's serial number!
All jokes aside, there's this file in the harddrive called "Screen test" which takes up 2 blocks (if I remember correctly). I just don't know how to get it to work.
As far as hidden games.....it's quite possible although I doubt such a thing exists with the first wave of XBOX consoles. Maybe sometime down the line, they'll include deletable demos in the harddrives of all future XBOX consoles.

I'm a Freecell kinda guy so I would've been stoked if that was on the harddrive.

I sense a sarcastic/evil tone in this.

THAT'S the big secret surprise?? C'mon, that might be a neat little thing they threw in, but that can't be the surprise that was talked about on launch day. 2 gigs of more hard drive space sounds like a good surprise.

I'm telling you guys its Solitaire .
Ok ok, I've been holding out on you guys on how to get it. First you have to go to the menu and then hardrive. Then you have to rotate the control stick clockwise while the other one is counterclockwise and then push the start button for EVERY rotation you make. That will open up Solitiare on the HD and you can reign supreme and brag to your friends (sorry Centurion no Freecell) .
hehheheh hmmmmm.....maybe they'll announce what it is, the last Dreamcast produced was supposed to contain some sort of added bonus as well and so far no one's bought that one.
That reminds me.....did you know that the original spyhunter is an easter egg in Excel 2000, it is, but its fairly complicated on how to get there you'll have to do a search on it but its kinda nifty

I started a multiplayer game of Halo and there it was posted right above the picture of the XBOX console.
I wonder what the names mean and why they all seem to be 5-letter names.

Select a Multiplayer game (even though you have only one control).
Make all the necessary selections on screen (Deathmatch, CTF, Race, etc.)
You will then end up on a screen that waits for the second player to join. There should be a small picture of the XBOX along with a name printed immediately above it.
When you get this to work, tell us what name was listed. I am willing to bet it is a 5-letter word.
