My friend placed an order with my account a week ago that shipped yesterday. I waited until yesterday morning to place my order since I was in denial thinking owning a PS2 was good enough until I saw some kids playing an XBOX at Bestbuy. My order from yesterday is still in process.

$300 for the system
$50 for the 1st game
$50 for the 2nd game
$40 for the controller
=$440 + tax in NY = ~$475 + shipping.
So you save 20 bucks originally, more than make up for it in shipping and tax, and probably have at least 1 game you never would have got in the first place.
I'm holding out for an Internet store with no tax that will sell just the console, not some shitty overpriced bundle with a bunch of stuff I don't need.

Let's see... For me, with tax/shipping, it came to under $452. I'd say that isn't bad. Yes, it would be a little better if I could get it cheaper, but that still is not bad...

i like my deal - $900 for 2 bundles (tax & shipping included), sell 1 console, 3 games, and a box on ebay, and i end up with an xbox, 3 controllers, and halo for less than the price of the xbox alone. :) i can handle that!
