PS2 Sales ?

Sony remains the biggest obstacle for the company. With 80 million PlayStation machines and 20 million PlayStation 2 machines already in homes across the world, it has a firmly established, loyal base of customers.



This was from an X box article on cnn this morning. Is the 20 million number for real ? I had no idea they had sold that many. That is nuts.

20 million worldwide - about seven million in north america. That's why i don't take people seriously who say the ps2 is doomed because of the release of gamecube and x-box. The worst sony could finish in the console war is a very healthy third place.
