Target Stores Don't Price Match.......

If you people want to price match for your stuff.

Forget about Target!

I was trying to buy something at TARGET for a great price, by pricematching to best buy, or Curcuit City. I drove 20 mins, and they finally had the item in stock, and then Target tells me,

Target Don't Price Match with anyone but Wal-Mart, And Meijer.

They use to pricematch with Best Buy, and other stores. When did they change thier policy? Best Buy sells some food items, and electronics like Target. I don't understand this at all....

I won't shopping at Target for loooooong time, that's for sure.

I wonder if this policy is for every target store, or for a few that are ********!

Oh Well, I went to Meijer, and had no hassle.

Walked away with a PSX2 Game for $35!

Just a fair Warning to you penny pinchers, about Target.

It's the almost exact same store as a Fred Meyer's, if you have those (I suppose they might even be different names for the same company, depending on where you live).

Pretty much like a Target, but bigger, and with a full grocery department.

In my experience, Target managers will tell any convenient lie they can dream up. A few months ago I tried to price match the Max Payne game when Circuit City had it advertised for $15. The manager refused and told me it with a straight face that Target never pricematched electronic items. When I asked why they had price matched dvds for me before the answer was; "We should not have." Right. Well, I never bought much from their electronic department but I did buy lots of household stuff there. No more.

So that's what it is! I went to a Fred Meyer's on vacation with my family a year or two ago to Washington to see family who live there! The DVD/CD selection was far better than Target's.Wal-Mart's,Sam's Club and Costco! I'd love to have them rather than more "big box" stores like Sam's Club,Costco(coming to soon to where I live),Wal-Mart(for some strange reason everyone in my area loves Wal-Mart,while I do'nt), Target, The Wherehouse(CD and DVD store, part video/DVD rental) and the Factory Stores with Music For a Song(they charge a $ or off the Retail price!Big deal!)

Any chance either of these stores coming to Northern California?
