Hi,

I've got a Toshiba 61HX70 TV and I wanted some advice on what kind of HDTV receiver I need to buy. I see that some receivers only work with certain TV's and model #'s so I'm really in the dark on how to proceed. I'm not interested in Direct TV or anything like that, I just want to be able to use my regular cable line and be able to watch HDTV programs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would think it best to contact your cable company regarding STB compatibility but I rarely watch cable. Once I went Progressive/Anamorphic DVD it's hard to go back to broadcast television.
