forum clock is whacked

Just wanted to let you know. It looks like the forum "clock" is somewhere about 1/2 an hour fast. Also, I've made several posts and somehow they end up somewhere 1/2 way through the thread, rather than at the end. -- one is the "Tales for the leet" on the other forum and the other is "26 Xbox games at launch" thread in the video games thread.

just wanted to let you know. No idea what's going on.

Looks like the clock was just "fixed" to Daylight Savings Time, so for a 60 minute window, things will be messed up chronologically.

Geoff, some people can't post and are getting a flood control message. Sounds time related.

They need help!

And a reply...

Edit: seems that it wouldn't let me post in 'other' (cause I posted just before the change I guess). Because I never post here, it's allowing me to (again - another guess).

Within the thread, the posts are sorted by date/time order.

The loss of the hour made new posts seem like they happenned before older posts.

I think the flood control (10 second stuff) is you posting at the same time as a thread you made previously. But the repeat of the last hour makes it look like they happenned at the same time.

Should be back to normal in another minute or so.

That thought just occured to me that if you posted exactly 60 minutes after your last post, the flood control would kick in, but you would have to be very coincidental OR post a freakin lot to have it keep happening to you.
