gamecube contest - super monkey ball

You get to play a Flash mini-game which gives you an idea how the controls of the game work. The mini-game is NOT exactly like the real game, as the real game follows the monkey around the playfield, sort of like a "chase-cam"

Super Monkey Ball "Monkey Contest"
ALL RIGHT, LET'S ROLL . . .

Sega has teamed with GamePro to bring you Monkey Ma-a-a-dness at it's best.

Get used to the tilting action of this crazy, cool monkey fest, and you'll be ready to roll the little monkeys of Super Monkey Ball to victory! Once you feel you've gotten ahead of learning "curve," get on over to the entry form and sign up for a chance to win, that's right, your very own Nintendo GameCube™, 3 extra controllers, and a copy of Super Monkey Ball. Three other lucky First Prize Winners will receive a copy Super Monkey Ball.

edit: Contest ends Dec. 3rd.

My friend pre-ordered this for my birthday. I have a feeling those extra controllers would come in handy when I destroy the original in frustration.

Man this game is addicting I can't wait to play the Gamecube version, its good to see puzzle/action games like this every once and awhile that break away from tetris.

There is a tenth level after level 9. I wasn't patient enough to finish level 10 to see if there are any more.

This game is great on the cube. I picked up only two games, this and Rogue Leader. I've barely played Rogue Leader because this is so addictive. It has so many levels of play, it really is great for parties. Kart Racing type game, battle mode, and a ski jump mode are all open, and you have to unlock a bowling, billiards and golf mode. I'll be playing this for awhile. At least until Super Smash Bros Melee.

This controls a lot different than the actual game. The game roxors btw. So many extras in addition to the normal gameplay. Bowling, pool, golf, racing, etc.

This IS the best multiplayer game right now. I bought this game last night and haven't stopped playing it yet. There's so much to do! So many levels AND mini-games. You can bet I'll be playing this for a long long time..........or until Super Smash Bros. Melee comes out.

I'm not a Gamecube owner, but I'm really impressed with SMB's graphics. During Extended Play's GC preview this past weekend, I couldn't get over how sharp it looks.

This game would drive me nuts though. I don't think I have the patience.
