Review Wanted: Replicant
It comes out tomorrow, and I wanted to know about the DVD, but also thoughts on the movie itself. I have seen a trailer for it, but that is all.
Thanks in advance

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
I watched it this weekend and I thought it was a fairly decent film. Certainly the concept of two Van Dammes is nothing new, but director Ringo Lam manages to put together some decent fight scenes and the plot is a cross between the Watcher and the 6th day. Lam also directed Van Damme in Maximum Risk.
Personally, I'd say this is a rental unless you're a huge fan of Van Damme. The DVD has some decent deleted scenes, the trailer, and a commentary. I think there might be something else, but it escapes me.
The transfer is decent, though it has some smaller specks that appear from time to time. The 5.1 sound, from what I remember, was very good.

I'll eventually give this one a rent. I was gonna' today, but passed on it and chose One Night at Mcool's.
On a side note, I do think a lot of Ringo Lam as my favorite Van Damme movie is Maximum Risk.
