Does anybody know anything about XM radio service and the equipment? I think I pretty comfortable about the way the service will work via their website http://www.xmradio.com . Has anyone seen one of the Sony home receivers yet?

From the info I can find it doesn't seem to have a digital output to your home receiver. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Can any one enlighten me if I'm wrong?

I'm highly interested when they roll this out nationwide. I would gladly pay 10 bucks a month to have some decent music broadcasts. Chicago has to have the worst selection of radio stations in the US. Talk about absolutely no diversity! I live in a city the tenth of the size of Chicago that had a better selection! Of cousre, the true test will be if this service works in my apartment building in an urban setting.

Sorry, can't help; wrong country.

One thing, though: posts to this particular forum tend to stay on the front page for a day or two, so there's really no need for the regular bumps IMNSHO.
