In Pokemon Silver, where is Rock Smash (TM08)?

After you beat Goldenrod Gym, search the right side of the city, near the gym, where you'll find the gardner woman and get the squirtbottle. Squirt it on the Sudowoodo/wiggling tree that was in your way earlier that made you detour through the Ruins of Alph, and either beat or capture the wiggly tree/Sudowoodo, then go right, towards the beginning of the game. after about 1-2 seconds, you'll see a a fat guy near the crossroads, talk to him and he'll give you Rock Smash for getting rid of the tree/Sudowoodo
