Suspiria 3 disc set 10, 000 Unit Run in Canada

The official street for this set is tomorrow and Canada, and what
Anchor Bay has done is issue a limited run for it's Northern
friends.

These smaller runs are very very rare and have only happened twice before once with the intitial 2 dvd releases for Army of Darkness, and then Halloween. Now it it's Suspiria's turn.

The reason for this is that since the USA demand is so high Anchor Bay uses up the entire stock for it's domestic accounts. By the time the Canadian date occurs the well has run dry. So Anchor Bay goes back and does a much much smaller run for our use.
For you collectors out there these sets are the same as your USA editions content wise only the run is a much lighter 10, 000 units as opposed to the USA 60, 000.

These sets usually get a much higher return in the after market such as ebay etc so if you have access to one, I would highly recommend getting one of ours if you wish to stockpile some stock.

Strange that it seems the limited runs are connected to horror films. The specifically numbered titles such as "Suspiria" are amongst the few that are really "limited" and indicate to the customer which one they are buying. Why is this so prevalent in this genre, while it is not done very often in others? Is this Anchor Bay?

Horror fans are ravenous! They can consume large amounts of limited editions and it still will do little to stop the hunger that boils deep in our gut. We need these limited editions to survive.

Box Sets are good! Numbered sets good!

Anchor Bay know this!

They also feel our pain.

I wonder why these limited editions are always less than the amount people wish to buy. Limited run of 50.000 is gone in a matter of days leaving alot of people without it. I smell more hoarding of this by people for resale later.

Ummmm...I do not understand the pain thing, but to each his own.

To experience the pain first hand is quite a simple matter to do.

Find any DVD from Madacy, UAV, Simitar, or MTV Films.
Open whats left of the tattered plastic wrap.

Remove the disc from it's hub (if it's a Madacy DVD it should have already have fallen off this on your way home)

Hit eject on your favorite DVD player of choice.

Insert tripe

That scratching in your speakers is not your imagination.
It is the pain!
True and clear.
The Pain is real, and it's everywhere Preacherman.

Pain comes in many flavours. Releases of dubbed "Mad Max" with a healthy dose of Director's Cut "Bladerunner" followed by shots of No Release "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Should this prove interesting try Hysterical"Total Recall" packaging merged with Murky "Thief." Pain is everywhere.
Why do these horror releases seem to include more than many other films? It is not to take anything away from D. Argento, but most of his films are being released and well done. At least for those who get one of these limited run titles. Other than cornering the market on Tins, the horror industry seems to have found more answers than other genres.

It's because horror rules period!

Porn, and Horror should always have special features up the yazoo, everything else should haul ass back to video tape.

Why thank you!

Did you buy a Suspiria limited edition, or are you waiting for the paperback?

Planning on getting it since we are apparently lucky enough to get this second wave of 10,000.
Just have to work in a Godfather first. Occassionally the non-horror crowd gets it right.
This seems kind of strange. Two people talking in a crowded room while the rest just watch. Hey, is this what porn feels like?

What does porn feel like if nobody cares? Or if nobody watches?
