Star Trek Movies Box Set

Has anyone heard of this being released ?
I was browsing through Future Shop and I noticed this as a new box set being released November 9.

I can't find it at Amazon and nobody has brought it up. I'm just wondering if this is just something that is being sold at Future Shop, or if it is a real release.

BTW, here's the URL :

Re : Star Trek Movies Box Set

Oh, there it is. Sorry about that.

What's odd is that somehow the MSRP is cheaper in Canadian funds than it is in U.S. With the exchange rate, the price at future shop comes out to $143.74 !!

Man, there isn't enough STL + coupons to make up that difference.

No Shipping to US

According to the Future Shop Web Site, they do not ship outside of Canada.

I would warn anyone about ordering it, as the series will now reverse and go through all the films in the numerically correct direction. Expect many extra's on each DVD as they go through them over the next few years.

what do you mean by this, they will come out with new versions of each star trek movie with more features?

They worked their way from newest to oldest. The original film is now a special edition director's cut. It is guaranteed that they will now go through them in the other order adding features and extra's. Usually box sets are to get rid of product before the new versions are announced, because they will lose their market once they start. It is also always true in the Star Trek world. We are just about done buying all the Original Series on DVD and already the rumours have started on new versions with added features. Ah, the life of a Trek fan.
