ADCD Decoding? on Zenith DVD player

My brother and I are looking at two new Zenith 5 disk DVD players now that we found out they will do a random shuffle on CD's.
My question is one of them the DVD 5591 is progressive scan with AC3 and ADCD decoding. Just what is ADCD decoding?

The other unit is the DVD 5201 by the way and not progressive scan.

And if anyone can explain what is a good DAC spec and what is a bad spec I would appreciate it.

Actually, it's HDCD (not ADCD).

Thanks. My brother was giving me the specs on the phone and I guess I heard him say ADCD insted of HDCD.
