Well this purchase is a no-brainer for me. I'm an audiophile. The reviewers all seem to agree that this is the best DD 5.1 track yet to be released on DVD. People are always coming over to see my setup and enjoy the home theater experience. This is the perfect demo disc. I think I'll be using the pod race to show off my setup for a long time. As for the film, well I have worse films on my shelf...

I preordered mine with a local store. I know that the price is a bit high but I also know that I'll have it as soon as I can and I just feel better knowing that there will be a copy waiting with my name on it on that Tuesday. This is one title that I'm willing to pay that little bit extra for.....now more than ever since all the reviews seem to say what an amazing audio track it has.

On-line preorder.
I got mine from HMV with the $15 IBM coupon which makes the total purchase about $9 after the exchange rate. I don't think I would have bought it if I didn't get such a good price.

Best Buy has done this with CDs and such (interview discs with Beatles Anthology, etc.) and they have also been doing the $5 off when you buy other discs at the same time. I wouldn't be surprised if they (or another B&M) come up with some special deal, on top of a 16-17.99 price, that will be too good to pass up. They fight for sales, we benefit!

Cuz that is what I would have chosen

don't expect release dates being broken, Lucas is a mad mother when it comes to people buying his items early.

Even if the online prices are the same as the B&M price, I will buy from the B&M stores because paying sales tax is cheaper than paying for shipping. And I get to have the disc in my hands immediately rather than waiting for a week after release date, for Amazon to ship the disc.
