or maybe not? i haven't seen it reviewed anywhere else anyway.. Widescreen Review has put up a review of it now.. but they only review the video and audio quality, but still... they gave it 4.5 for video and 5 for audio.

I bet this DVD will have great visual and audio quality (most Universal DVDs have that), but it doesn't hide the fact that this movie was a big disappointment. The opening battle scene was the only good part in the whole movie. The Rock kicked plenty of egyptian booty in that scene. I have a freind who works in a video rental and will let me check out the extras when it arrives.

What the deal with this release, is this a Dolby Digital only release or is there a seperate DTS edition (or will an "Ultimate" edition include the DTS track?)

No DTS track separately or on the current DVD. As for an Ultimate Edition, nothing's been announced, but I won't exactly be shocked if one appears in the future...
