I saw a trailer for this the other day and it looked pretty cool. Has anyone ever heard of it ?? I think it may be a flick from japan. I haven't seen the dvd available from anywhere. Anyone see it ?? or better yet, have the dvd ???

Furious

Easily one of the best movies of the year, period. It's a dazzling mix of Zombies, Guns, and Kung Fu, shot in a dizzying style reminiscent of the Matrix (some great in jokes here). Adrenafilm.de is supposed to be carrying a dvd version of the film, but it is turning into one heck of a saga with regards to the legitimacy of the title and getting the title in stock. I'd advise waiting on this one until the fog clears. The film has yet to play theatrically in Japan, I believe it starts next month. A Japanese dvd won't be available until 2002 most likely. The film has been picked up for US distrobution and some of the scenes are being reshot for the American release. Most people have watched a copy from Napalm's festival screening tape, or a bootleg vcd taken from said tape. At any rate, it's one worth waiting for, and the director is one to keep tabs on.
