Ebgames.com has this for preorder in October for $19.99. Is this the same version as the import Castlevania chronicles. No one at EB knew and I'm having a hard time finding info on a US Castlevania Chronicles.

this is going to be a never before seen game from Konami. It originally appeared on some Sharp video game ssytem in Japan.

It's a remake of the original Castlevania, with new levels and better graphics. Oh, and Simon has red hair.

I think this (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/archive/0,13838,468729,00.html#media) is the game you're talking about. It is a remake of an old Castlevania on the X68000 system. Looks kind of cool but also damn hard. Some of the music in the movies they have there seemed cool though, I notice vampire killer and a bit of level 3 (can't remember the title). I want to play this one but have yet to get my hands on Circle of the Moon which is my first priority -smile-

I've played the import with the same name. Its a cool game. Its extremely hard and nothing like SOTN. The only problem is that it was all in Japanese. From what you guys have told me, this is the same game, but in English. For $20, I'm definitely picking it up. <font size = 3><font color= indigo>BIG THANKS</font></font> to you all!!

Absolute man do you EVER read my posts? I posted this game review looooong time ago. I dont think youll have a hard time finding it if it does come to the states but as far as I know this was supposed to be a japan only title. but anyway. good luck i paid about 75 bones for mine imported.
