Yes, I use a local store(only 2 stores total) and they are taking GC preorders for "loyal customers only". I qualified( I only hang out there on Friday mornings...and spend a bunch of my money :) )

Anyone know if Electronics Boutique is taking pre-orders for the GameCube yet? I have some credit there... I know, I'm being lazy, I'll probably call them sometime tonight but I figured I'd ask while I was here. Thanks... :)

My local EB is starting taking pre orders Sept. 1
I was going to pre-order one but I got a new computer so i am going to wait till after Xmas

I made a deal with my wife...if my epinions money can make it to $100, the rest will be thrown in by our regular money to buy a GC.... I am halfway there and I still have a couple months to do it. But I guess I will need enough cash fora memory card and Rogue Leader too.... damn.
This is going to be a sweet ass system.
