I was looking for info on what the differant Matrix sets included? Is there one someone would recommend picking up or should I just stick with the straight movie?

Sorry I meant editions.

Matrix (Platinum Mini-Box Collector's Edition) $49.98 1999
Matrix: Collector's Edition $79.98 1999

Also one set is oop, and was reissued but I don't know if anything changed.

They don't look like they're worth it to me.

All of the DVD's are the same, right?

That's all that would matter to me.

matrix box

I have the collectors box. It has lobby cards, a film senitype in a frame, a poster folded up , and some other stuff...the DVD is EXACTLY the same as any other matrix DVD. If your into memorabillia its probably worth it. Otherwise stick with the DVD itself....

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping one of the editions had the Art of the Matrix book included, but I will just stick with the regular version for now.

no, none of them have 'the art of the matrix ' included, that book alone sells for $60. Well worth it tho. IMHO.

Can anyone please verify if there are any differences between these editions/releases of The Matrix? Any special/hidden features available on one and not the other?

DVD - November 2000
DVD - June 2000
DVD - September 1999

Thanks for your feedback!!!

There has only been one version of the actual film on DVD. Everything else has been repackaging with other stuff. If you want more than that, check out Matrix Revisited. You can treat the Matrix and the Matrix Revisited as your make-shift 2-disc set.
