I've had this discussion with a few of my friends and the only two films that we could recall Yuen Woo Ping making a cameo are:

Once Upon a Time in China I
The kung-fu master that fought with Iron Robe Yim

The Tai Chi Master
The cowardly Taoist that helped Jet Li

Any HK Movie fans know of any other ones?

Eastern Condors. As one of the two men that are left on the bridge to blow the sh*t out of the Japanese. the other guy with him is Corey Yuen Kwai.

he was the goofy ABC that came back to try and marry Paula Tsui in the comedy Merry Christmas.

Also had a bit part in the Stephen Chow movie My Hero, and a part in Drunken Master.

Like Tsui Hark, he looks stupid on screen, but sure wields a lot of power behind the screen.

I definitely agree. I was shocked when I first found out how goofy Master Yuen looked. Hark made a cameo in "A Better Tomorrow" as the maestro when Leslie's girlfriend was auditioning alongside with John Woo as the detective after Chow.

The only person that I can't really think of appearing in cameos is Johnny To. I can't recall a single movie he's been in.

If you think he looks goofy, you should see him in Tiger Cage, in a modern setting. I don't think you'll find him, Tsui, or John Woo taking over the idol-type roles anytime soon.

According to the commentary on the Columbia/Tri-Star release, this is not Yuen Woo Ping, but his brother who was a fight coordinator or something like that for the movie.

I believe that Yuen Woo Ping was one of the restaurant workers where Jackie thought he had scored a free meal.

For a gander at his goofy looks:

YH - thx for the tip and the photo.

I think I have a match, allthough I'm not sure, if anybody else wants to check, pelase do. YWP is one of the dudes in the restraunt. I think he is most easily seen right before KingKong/Gorilla grabs Jackie's face with his hand. He is the restraunt dude in teh background next to the wall. Also, I think this same dude is the one grabbing Jackie's feet when Jackie falls between the two tables.

It was hard to tell, but I think that it is him. Kinda looks like the picture, but I am nowhere near %100.

Verification anybody?

You're right. All this time I thought that he was Yuen Woo Ping. It's actually Yuen Woo Ping's younger brother, Yuen Cheung Yan. The two are both martial arts choreographers. No wonder . . . I saw several pictures of him as "Master Yuen" and figured he was Woo Ping.
