Now I'm mad. I just paid $4.99 for regular. I didn't even know there was a wide screen. I saw this movie 20 years ago. I thought is was fantastic. Looking at it again the other night. It seemed so dated. The split screen during phone calls. Paleeese.

It's a really great print...anamorphic too!!!

Definitely get the WIDESCREEN version or none at all. Yup...I know all the companies are trying to unload the old P/S version. But the new one is really nice for the price - 16x9 as well. It's actually the first Goodtimes DVD to be released enhanced. Go get it while it's still out there for that price. It's a steal if you like the film. Yeah...it's old, but I still have a soft spot for all the old stars and the glitzy "old" Hollywood product - they can't make 'em like that anymore (and I don't mean it in a bad way).

Let me pipe in here, and say that this is a very fine print of a classic movie. And, to top it off, the price is unbeatable!

Without the widescreen image, you wouldn't get all the great scenes of different characters talking from different areas (i.e. Air Controller, Airport Manager, & Jet Pilot).

Great film, that GoodTimes has made into a great DVD!
