Alternate names for titles

In the last couple of years there has been a flood of movies that have been renamed just because Chow Yun-Fat or John Woo worked on them. HONG KONG FACE OFF and HARD BOILED KILLER come to mind.
Would anybody know where to get the original titles for these? I think it's very misleading if you go to a site like imdb.com and see Hong Kong Face OFF listed as being done by Woo in 1998 or something. I think Jackie Chan is listed as being in it, too. I doubt if they actually worked on the movie at all.
I know this is a little off topic because most of these are VHS only. I thought about this again after I bought the MASTER WITH CRACKED FINGERS DVD abd read the history behind that about the re-shoots and title change.
