OK - I do not know about the picture quality / the sound qualiy etc - but I do know this:

Traffik: The Miniseries will be distributed by Acorn Media for Region 1 and Region 2.

The sound will be mono, and the picture will be non-anamorphic 1.33:1. I hope the picture is good... I want this DVD.

I suspect that this will be a bad release.

Is there any proper reviews?

I only put it in my player for a couple of minutes, but it definitely didn't look like anything to write home about. I seem to remember a couple of scratches --

Well I watched the VHS a couple of weeks ago...so I can't comment on it's technical standards, but it's a really engaging story that expands on alot of the themes of Traffic, but shifts the action to Europe and Pakistan...takes you all the way through the drug producing process.....wickedly good stuff.4 hours enjoyably spent.

Just finished watching the first of this set - very engrossing story. Video quality is average tv,full screen, audio not great. No closed-captioning,only subtitles are during some pakistani and german dialogue. Interview extras on the first disc. I'm finding it fascinating to compare storylines with the soderbergh.

Of course this one is in full screen. It was made for television.
