Well ive heard quite good things about this movie and im thinking of buying it next week. So how is it? Is it scary? Is Vin Diesel good in it? And is the Unrated DVD worth the title of being Unrated?

It's unrated because that cut wasn't submitted for rating. From what I understand though the extra footage is mostly character development. Personally this movie quickly became one of my fav/most watched movies. The opening sequence is a great workout for a good surround system. The lighting and visual effects throoughtout the movie are well done too. WRT the DVD both commentaries are informative and entertaining. The only thing I could have done w/o is the "raveworld" thung, but that's JMO.

Overall a very good flick. I borrowed it from a buddy of mine and did not want to give it back. Both commentaries were entertaining as well. The one with Vin Diesel was the better of the 2.
It would be a very good addition to a DVD collection.

Very underated film IMHO. Vin is really good in this. Some of the character developement is thin but it's one of the better "alien" type movies to come out since Aliens. It's relatively low budget so the CGI isn't perfect but the atmosphere is top notch. By the way this movie is excellent for demo stuff
