Do you watch movies with this function enabled on your DVD player? To me, it seems to make the picture a little brighter, however it also makes it look cloudier.

Do you know if it's good or bad to have it on?

No. I use Video Essentials to calibrate the picture properly to view my DVDs. I highly recommend it; your picture quality will likely increase quite a bit.

Yes. I havent calibrated my system yet, but the Black Enahancement is awesome. I have a Tosh. 3109 and can really tell the difference when the enhancement's on.
