what would you like to know.
They look great in 780i.
You can view from angles with no problem.
The black suffers a bit on the best and is bad on the others.
They are expensive
They are cool!

I will re-iterate: THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.
I think I saw a small/cheap one for $7000. They had a nice picture but, I dont think they are that special. I have seen several HDTVs that I was more impressed with.

Keep in mind, nizzo, that a plasma can also be HDTV. However, at a huge price.
We sold 3 displays at our store. They were the Philips Gen I 42" widescreen (16X9). They were only selling for $4500 for EVERYTHING including setup and delievery!!! We knew they would go fast, and they did. But, that had the capabilities of going HDTV for another $3000. So, that would have put it at $7500 for an installed, HD Plasma. That's not a bad price.
But, for the most part, plasmas are expensive simply because it's PLASMA. You can't exactly just go to the store and pick up a gallon or two. LOL...

Rather than fork out 7K for an HDTV 42" plasman, I would get the RCA 38" direct view widescreen for under 3K.. Thre are going to be more sets like that one. I hope sony has one soon.

to each his own. the RCA mentioned by matchpenalty has a curved, rather than a flat screen (unless they have changed the specs recently).
while i have a direct-view HDTV and love it, i think the attraction of the plasma is the footprint. my direct-view is over 2 feet deep and weights about a million pounds. even though the picture on the plasma isn't as good as either a direct-view or RPTV, i'd have gone plasma if i'd had the cash. my 2cents.
