I am looking for a good set of bi-polar rear speakers. Looking to spend no more than $600 for the pair. I have heard definitive technologies and B&W's. Does anyone have any opinions on these speakers? I listend to the speakers at different stores so they were very hard to compare.

Thanks

I have the DefTech BP1X surrounds. Love 'em. But that will be what almost anyone will say about their speakers. You have to decide for yourself. Just make sure you get to listen to them on the same receiver, or as close as possible, to the one you have. Better yet, a high end store should be willing to let you try them at home....

What are your mains and center? It's not vital, but it helps a little. I have a pair of Mirage OM-Rs and they are nice and warm with good dispersion.

I own the Def Tech BPVX/P surrounds, and I love them. Am I biased? Sure. They are not in the price range you are looking for, but are fantastic sounding bi-polar speakers nonetheless.
