Half-Life Bots....I'm sick of them

I've been playing multiplayer Half Life since it
came out. I was playing other games for awhile, mostly Diablo II, and I have started playing again.

I cant believe the number of players using bots !!!!
Aim-bots, Avoidence-bots, fly-bots....THEY ALL SUCK !!!

These little cheats ruin the game for everyone. I love to see stats like 98 KILLS, 0 Deaths

And please spare me the comedy about how these are actually only player-gods that are that good. I've been playing games too long to fall for that.

Does anyone know:

1. If there are any bot identifier programs out there, something that would tell you if a player is using a bot?

2. Any safe bot-free servers?

3. Any bot sites so I can learn more about the capabilities of different bots?

4. Any web sites to download bots.

i'm often confused with the village idiot bot, who runs around trying to figure out how to shoot and winds up blowing myself up.

There has been some attempts to get rid of them, because they really do suck. There was a program that would be put on servers that would scan for cheaters... however, the cheaters kept adapting or something, and so in the end it didn't work. It's very annoying that someone feels the need to cheat at a video game and ruin everyone else's fun.

i'm also confused with the infamous statue bot - who just stands around trying to aim, and gets blown up repeatedly.

Currently only works with Half-Life, IIRC. Never used it myself, as our cable modem has great transfer speeds, but the ping of a bloated sea cow.
